Allana Ferguson bio
Allana began her career with Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following multiple knee injuries over the years, Allana switched to rugby union. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women came in 2015. She played well against Queensland and represented New South Wales. Allana has also added radio to her repertoire regularly appearing on the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana also holds a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson is the only australian to have represented Australia in rugby sevens and in rugby league as well as touch. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson was required to put an abrupt ending to her rugby league professional career following the tear of her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson tore the ACL 4 times in the past she was 15, 17 and 20. After the fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing career was over. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's player. Ferguson was forced to quit in the wake of a 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training in the month of November. She was a face of women's Rugby League over the course of several seasons.
